Get to know Leah’s story

As a curious learner, my career path has been anything but linear.

My passion for writing began in the third grade when a story I wrote about a talking pumpkin was featured in a school publication. That moment sparked a lifelong love for connecting with people through words.

After completing my degree in marketing, I spent seven months traveling and working abroad. When I returned to the U.S., I spent the next eight years building marketing programs for tech startups and software companies.

In 2021, I began to experience severe burnout from the tech industry and lost sight of why I became a marketer. I knew there had to be more meaningful work than selling clicks on the internet and chasing leads.

Tendwell Creative was born out of my quest to connect my passions to purpose-driven work. I believe that marketing can be a force for good. In a world that’s increasingly driven by automation and artificial intelligence, consumers want to support brands that are authentic and real. As a marketer, it’s my mission to help your brand communicate authentically and grow sustainably.
